This images shows an amazing LANDSCAPE view at sculpture by the sea, an outside sculpture exhibition held at Bondi each year. This image shows a variety of Design Principles: EMPHASIS The eye is drawn to the focal point in the foreground, due to the CONTRAST created by the dark tone of the deer sculpture against the blue horizon. BALANCE and PROPORTION can also be seen in this image by the way the deer is set off to one side of the composition and the other side is quite empty and vast. PROPORTION can also be seen by the large objects in the foreground compared to the smaller unfocused landscape in the distance. The lines of the deers antlers and the direction of the clouds seems to add an element of movement and REPETITION as it draws the audiences eye to the main focal point. |
